17.01.09: Brushstroke

I’ve been listening to Sia’s Colour The Small One album while painting this.
It’s interesting how the tone of music changes an artwork.
10~15 minutes painting time.
I’m finding it harder to stick to the 5 minute and under rule of these postings…I’m beginning to enjoy this process more and more.

The experience was a good one for me. For one it opened me up more to Sci-Fi.
A genre I wasn’t really too fond of originally. But now I see the potential there is now in this area for the use of imagination as it is with fantasy….
I’ve been working with a talented writer for the release of a bl sci-fi comedy story.
Everything is still under wraps and a work in progress…but I can post one piece of concept artwork I’m working on.

Well . . . the suit is still a work in progress. I never knew how hard it was to make a jumpsuit sexy!!
I guess I’ve been spoilt with fantasy costume design lately. . . .

It’s finally done!

I’ve been recently working on a few concepts for a few different comic ideas.
This one being to a sci-fi/modern day comic that’s currently a secret (^_~)
But I can promise you a short 10 page/under comic coming sometime around new years for you book lovers. . . . I really think you will like this one.
But with that being said and done I should return back to pencilling Bajka o Lisie.
